In the “De Paris a Beyrouth” (From Paris to Beirut) collection, Alizee Castel celebrates two cultures: French versus Lebanese. As a French woman married to a Lebanese man, she has come to appreciate and love both cultures. This collection is her tribute to the similarities and differences between the two countries.  

In France, coffee is typically served as a small cup of strong “espresso”, often enjoyed in a café or after a meal. Despite some subtle differences in the preparation and how it is served, both French and Lebanese share a love of coffee and the tradition of gathering around it with family and friends.
